“Burger King hijacks Black Friday.”
Black-Friday’s about finding deals. And what better deal could BK offer than the WHOPPER, for free! Even better? Using the online ad-budgets of 1400 other brands to pay for them. We found a new way to hack the affiliate marketing banners of these brands, to make them pay for WHOPPERS. Shoppers just had to do their regular Black Friday shopping through our eCommerce website: WHOPPER-SHOPPER.com.
HOW WE SPENT OTHER BRANDS MONEY ON WHOPPER SANDWHICHES:
We created a website with nothing but brand banners.
For every purchase using the banners the respective brand paid us.
We gave that money back to Black Friday shoppers who
used our site ...
... as delicious WHOPPER sandwiches.
RESULTS
0$ spent.
Over 1400 Brands hijacked.
We reached nearly 300.000.000 people.
